We need a designer who thinks in systems, not just screens — someone comfortable owning a design from early wireframe through a Figma-to-Next.js handoff that developers can actually build without guessing.
Responsibilities
- Design web experiences across client industries, from discovery through final Figma handoff.
- Maintain consistency with each client's design system rather than reinventing patterns per page.
- Design for both light and dark themes as first-class, not one derived from the other.
- Collaborate closely with developers during implementation, not just at handoff.
Requirements
- A portfolio showing real client or product work, not just concept pieces.
- Fluency in Figma, including components, variants, and auto-layout.
- Understanding of what's actually feasible to build — and where to push back on your own ideas.
- Basic HTML/CSS literacy is a strong plus.
Benefits
- Remote-first, flexible hours around core overlap time.
- Direct client exposure, not filtered through three layers of account management.
- A small enough team that your work is visible.
